Neotan ™ (Melanotan-2) - a synthetic analogue of the natural peptide hormone melanocortin, which stimulates and enhances the tanning of the skin by stimulating production of melanin pigment.

For the first time Melanotan was synthesized at the University of Arizona.Scientists have conducted researches and found out that direct introduction of the hormone into the human body is an effective way to tan without the sun rays. In May 2010 the Italian Medicine Agency (AIFA - Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco) became the first public health organization, which endorsed Melanotan as a drug for reducing sensitivity to sunlight.

Dosage regimen of Neotan ™:

1 mg per day per 100 kg of body weight daily to achieve the desired shade of tan. The results appear gradually during 1-3 weeks.To accelerate pigmentation you can visit solarium (up to 3 times per week) or take a sunbathe. Upon reaching the desired shade of tan the druguse is reduced to 1-2 times per week (for some people there will be no need to use the drug further in order to maintain the achieved results; solarium or the sun tan will be enough).
